RIGHTS
On January 6, 2007 Bomb President gave the OK for archive.org
"Good Day,
I am the audio engineer and official archivist for Bomb President a Seattle area band. We would like to give permission for our live shows to be included in the live music archive on archive.org. Our only request is that you include our taping policy within our subsection. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding our request.
Thank you,
M. Chris SanClemente

Our taping policy is as follows:
Bomb President
Audio Recording and Transfer Policy (Based entirely on the YMSB policy)
Taping
All taping must be for personal use only, which may include trading (via analog or digital tape,
CD, or digital file transfer). Bomb President (BP) encourages audience taping at all shows. Performances where BP is not the headliner, including festivals, will be governed by the headline artist's policy. Professional video recording may be requested though management and requires a signed release. Soundboard patches are at the sole discretion of the sound engineer, and he may refuse patches into the soundboard at anytime. The enjoyment of the audience in attendance at a concert is paramount. At no time should tapers require other patrons to be quiet or otherwise interfere with their enjoyment of the show.
Copying
Bomb President retains exclusive ownership of the music and performances by the band, writers and publishers. Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution is strictly forbidden. All performances and musical compositions remain the exclusive property of Bomb President. Regardless of any expenses incurred, no money may ever be exchanged as part of a trade; however, stamped, self-addressed envelopes may be included with blank media. Newsletters, web
sites, clubs, or any other communication forum facilitating audio trading cannot accept advertising, offer links for compensation, exploit databases compiled from their traffic, or
otherwise derive any commercial proceeds in any form. Stores or businesses may not offer to
duplicate Bomb President media for customers or sell or otherwise provide media containing unreleased BP music for any price. A statement of compliance (“We trade in accordance with Bomb President’s recording policy”) with this policy must be clearly posted on all web sites engaged in trading activity.
The privileges to record Bomb President performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
If you are aware of any person or site in violation of this policy, please inform csancle@hotmail.com Thank you.
